As we witnessed the emerging trend of increasing hate crimes targeting individuals within the LGBTQ+ community, experiencing physical violence, harassment, and discrimination, we felt compelled to write a song aimed at helping those currently struggling with self-discovery and self-acceptance. While some of us may have been fortunate enough to grow up in nations where LGBTQ+ rights are recognized and protected by law, where acceptance and support are widespread, and where diversity is celebrated rather than condemned, we recognize that many others have not been as privileged. This song is dedicated to those who are growing up in one of the countries where LGBTQ+ individuals still face persecution, discrimination, and societal rejection simply for being who they are. Al ser testigos de la tendencia emergente de un aumento de los delitos de odio contra personas de la comunidad LGBTQ+, que sufren violencia física, acoso y discriminación, nos sentimos obligados a escribir una canción destinada a ayudar a quienes luchan actualmente por descubrirse y aceptarse a sí mismos.
